The R820 control valve has a twin seated trim with a single caged plug. The R820 is suitable for either modulating or on/off control of a wide variety of fluids, including steam, liquids or gases. The design is also suitable for mixing or diverting service. The pressure drop across the trim is limited by the actuators ability to overcome out of balance forces applied to the plug assembly. A variety of actuators and bonnet configurations are available similar to the R850/R870 control valves.
Actuators
Standard actuators are diaphragm and spring type R812 and R832 but other types including electric motor can be fitted..

Spring loaded Fluon V-rings. For higher temperatures graphited asbestos -free packing can be supplied.
BODY BONNET
Standard bonnet and packing can be used from minus 15ºC to plus 235ºC . The Standard bonnet can be used with graphited asbestos free packing to 315ºC. For temperatures above 235º Can extension bonnet is available to keep the packing box at reasonable temperatures and clear of pipe lagging and insulation.
