The R1430 is a spring operated self contained upstream regulator suitable for service with Steam, Air, Water, Oil, Gases and most liquid Chemicals (within the constraints of the valve material).
Operation
The self acting pressure relief regulator operates as follows. The pressure to be controlled exerts a force under the diaphragm. When the pressure level set by the spring is exceeded, the diaphragm moves upwards opening the plug to which it is attached allowing excess fluid to pass through the valve. The valve operates in a modulating mode to control the pressure within the parameters of the spring.
